You may be a potential
customer if...
...You
need to migrate from one CAD system to another.
...You have more than 1 CAD system in house.
...You have suppliers using different CAD systems than you.
...You have a vendor using a different CAD system than you
...You want a B-Rep translation.
...You need a neutral file / B-Rep translation, but don't have the source
CAD system.
...You want to verify that an existing B-Rep translation was accomplished
accurately.
...You find neutral file / B-Rep translations unsuitable.
...You want a fully modifiable, completely accurate, fully feature based,
native CAD file translated from one CAD system to another.
...You have sensitive files that must stay in-house to be re-mastered.
...You provide a translation service, which is currently manual
re-mastering. We can increase your efficiency and accuracy with our
Customer Site Installation of Acc-u-Trans.
A true feature based
translation...
...Is when
the parameters of each feature and model history tree are translated from
the source to the target system. For example: An extrusion has a modifiable
section and depths in the source CAD system. Therefore, with Acc-U-trans,
there would be an identical extrusion with a modifiable section and depths
in the target. The location in the history tree and design intent are also
maintained.
Lights-Out Automated, One-to-One mappings are impossible...
...Each CAD
system has its own limitations, feature types, history tree representations,
and modeling quirks. These limitations and differences make it impossible
for a fully accurate, native-to-native translation to be completely
automated in the real world.
Accuracy...
...Is very
important to our customers, who want as accurate a model as possible. Our
patented process of guaranteeing accuracy is unmatched. We check each
feature, surface-by-surface and edge-by-edge during creation and again after
the file translation is complete.
Why not
just rely on mass property analysis? Mass analysis is good, but doesn't tell
the user where the potential errors are occurring. Mass property analysis
can only tell you that your file is X % accurate. Does it help you to know
that your translation was 99% accurate?
Accuracy
doesn't just include the geometry however. This also includes the
parameters, history tree, and design intent. We map each feature from the
source to target as accurately as possible. Our goal is to get your target
model to behave with the same design intent as the source model did.
Automatically inserting a "dumb" feature (un-modifiable) in place of the
smart feature is catastrophic to any translation where design intent is
desired and usually requires re-mastering most of the model.
