ALLIANCE TO PROVIDE MARKET WITH ADDITIONAL CURRENT AND FUTURE FUNCTIONALITY FOR INTELLIGENT CAD TRANSLATIONS Spokane, WA —Translation Technologies (TTI), a developer of patent-pending software that delivers parametric, feature-based and fully modifiable computer-aided design (CAD) translations, today announced a new strategic relationship with a German company, CT Core Technologie, maker of the direct translator called 3D Evolution. The agreement allows CT Core Technologie to represent TTI’s feature based translation software, Acc-u-Trans in Europe and it allows TTI to represent CT Core’s Technologie’s direct translator, 3D Evolution, here in the U.S. In addition to marketing each other’s software the two companies will also start joint development efforts for the next generation of CAD translation software.
“The two companies have technical expertise in different areas of CAD translations. Co-developing software will provide the CAD market with the next generation of translation systems,” stated Mike McDonald, chief technology officer of TTI. “TTI understands feature mapping between systems and CT Core Technologie understands how to read, write and heal CAD models without requiring the models original system.” This combined expertise will provide software that will take featureless models, move them to another system, and add the features back into the model for the new system to utilize. Additionally, the two companies will start to market a product that includes both Acc-u-Trans and 3D Evolution within the same GUI (Graphical User Interface) and under the same batch manager for specifying both feature-based and featureless models within the same batch translation job. TTI’s Mirror Model Comparator (MMC) will be able to check for discrepancies in either type of translation and report them when the batch “run” is complete. “We are very excited about representing 3D Evolution here in the US market.” “It is an extremely strong direct translator with incredibly powerful healing functions”, said Robert Sorenson, TTI’s CEO. “We have had many requests to bundle a featureless translator in with Acc-u-Trans and after analyzing all of the current options in the industry we found the most robust direct translator currently available in the world – 3D Evolution.”
